Description:

Built in 1640(sixteen forty), the aristocratic manor is the only building of this time which has a lay- fortified character. The achievement of this impressive building belongs to Stoica handicraftsman. His name and the names of the owners: Stroe Leurdeanu and Vişa from Goleşti, are inscribed on the frame of a window and on the stone slab of the main pillar from the cellar.
Considered the third museum of great national importance and representation(after the Village Museum from Bucharest and ASTRA, the Folk Civilization Museum from Sibiu), it is the first museum dedicated to these important works of the Romanian people.
At Goleşti, the organization of this museum had as a basis both the multimillenary importance of the practice of the viticulture and the tree growing on the territory of Romania and the historical traditions of these occupations in the Argeş county.
Fruit and grapes have been used as food from the oldest times, first in their natural state, than, as a product of vine and tree cultivation.
