Technical camera & lighting skills
* Knowing the operation technique for different types of camera systems, including DSLRs and camcorders, cinema cameras (Arri, RED, Sony) and basic drone flying.
* Understanding and adapting shot composition, framing, and camera movement to tell a story visually.
* the right lens for each shot and maintaining proper focus (both as solo operator and focus puller).
* Knowing how to work with lighting equipment, and understanding how to create specific lighting effects with gels, diffusers, and modifiers.

Grip and Rigging Knowledge
* Setting up and adjusting grip equipment like tripods, dollies, cranes, and gimbals.
* Ensuring that equipment is safely rigged, especially for complex or moving shots.

Editing and Post-Production Skills
* Video Editing Software: Proficiency in software like Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
* Color grading & Color correction
* Sound Syncing and Editing: Basic skills in sound editing to ensure audio and video match up well.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability
* Quick Thinking on Set: Handling unexpected issues, like lighting changes or technical malfunctions, to keep the production running smoothly.
* Resourcefulness: Making use of limited resources to create high-quality results, whether it’s a small-budget project or a major production.
* Team Coordination: Ability to work well with directors, producers, actors, and other crew members.
* Clear Communication: Conveying ideas clearly to ensure that everyone on set understands the vision and logistics.
